Run Guo, Licensed Acupuncturist, Dipl. OM, is a fourth-generation practitioner of his family’s traditional Chinese medicine. He graduated from Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, where he received systematic Chinese medicine theory education and practice, as well as training in Western medicine. After years of clinical practice in China, he moved to the US and was awarded the NCCAOM Certificate in Oriental Medicine. He is now a licensed acupuncturist in Virginia, Florida, and Maryland.
In addition to working at Balance Art Acupuncture, Run Guo is a professor at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine in VA, where he teaches Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
With years of medical practice both in China and the United States, Run Guo has cured many people of their health problems and successfully helped a good number of patients to get well.
Run Guo specializes in using acupuncture and holistic medicine to treat complex conditions in the clinic, including but not limited to pain management, infertility, dermatitis, and stress management.
Sara K. Palmer, Doctor of Acupuncture and Board Certified Acupuncturist, is a Virginia University of Integrative Medicine graduate and a Certified Member of the Obstetrical Acupuncture Association in the US. (The OBAA provides a resource for pregnant people and their care providers to find acupuncturists in their area who demonstrate an elevated standard of care and safety within the field of perinatal care). She has received diplomatic status and national certification from the NCCAOM. Sara loves working with both children and adults and believes that we all have the innate ability to heal ourselves when given support. Sara promotes wellness and patient empowerment through individualized and comprehensive care to treat various conditions, including women’s health-related issues, infertility, pain management, orthopedic issues, and mental and emotional challenges. Sara is passionate about women’s health and has completed extensive maternity and obstetric acupuncture training. She focuses on prenatal care and believes that the health of a mother and her baby begins well before conception. Sara delights in helping women throughout their pregnancy, including labor preparation and the postpartum period. She also brings a holistic approach to families in need of fertility support. Sara places the most significant importance on supporting the integration of Eastern and Western medicine to help her patients regain physical and mental balance.
Yueqikun (Savannah) Wang, Dipl. OM, is a Licensed Acupuncturist in VA and MD, and also a Professor of Acupuncture and Herbology at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. She teaches Gynecology Acupuncture, and Chinese Herbal Medicine, and she is also the lead intern clinic supervisor at the university.
Savannah graduated from Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China after 5 years of education (including traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine) and 2 years of clinical training at The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University. Savannah worked at Lu’An Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (China) after graduating.
In 2017, Savannah pursued her career in the US and became a board-certified Acupuncturist with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Savannah has treated many people successfully with her years of medical experience in China and the United States. She believes that working with TCM can help a patient find good health and inner peace naturally.
Savannah specializes in women's issues, infertility, internal medicine, and pain management.
Larissa Irons, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist since 2012 has been helping her patients for over 11 years!
Graduating from the Northern Virginia School for Therapeutic Massage- she's passionate about spreading the benefits of bodywork and integrative healthcare to the public. She strives to embrace her patients with compassion, and ultimately hopes she can assist them as they move from pain to a better quality of life!
Deyun Zhao
Has practiced clinical medical Tui-Na massage for ten years. He received traditional Taoist medical training and gaining extensive experience in his clinical experience. Proficient in the use of authentic Taoist Tui-Na massage techniques to provide assistance in the treatment of clinical patients.
